At Barcroft Primary School we believe that children learn best when they are happy and engaged in their learning. We work hard to offer a wide range of extra curricular activities, run by our dedicated members of staff and community, who volunteer their time to offer pupils something extra. The clubs not only help pupils to learn new skills and reinforce learning, but also support pupils’ well being.
Our extra curricular activities take place after school or during lunchtime and usually run for approximately 6 weeks. The sessions last 45 minutes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Many of our clubs are offered free of charge, with the exception of those run by external agencies.
Previously we have been able to offer a wide range of activities including musical clubs such as Choir. Reading Clubs, Languages and Performing Arts, Art and Craft and Sporting Clubs, such as Table Tennis. We are always looking for more ideas so feel free to let us know if there is something that you can suggest or offer for our pupils!
