Harvest - the time for reflecting, sharing and caring!

At Barcroft Primary, we are a caring and nurturing school. We not only put our children at forefront of everything we do but we also open our arms to help the wider community.

Recently, we had a visitor from the Black Country Foodback, who came into school and talked to the children about the meaning of ‘Harvest’ and what we can do to help the vulnerable and families in crisis. Unfortunately, statistics show that there are currently 16,000 families and vulnerable people who really need help and emergency food and supplies.

The attached video explains further the job of the foodbank and what ‘WE’ and ‘YOU’ can do to help.

Please send in as many donations as you can. You can start sending them in NOW! We, at Barcroft, the volunteers that work at the Foodbank, thank you for all your help and support.

Please watch the video for further information and see the attached leaflet for suggestions of what you can donate. Once again, a big thank you from all at Barcroft!
